CHARACTER BREAKDOWN
JATTO:
He
is from the Northern part of Nigeria, but has lived all his life in the West
(Lagos). A 21 year old Geography student in his second year in the University.
Jatto is brilliant but places his social life as priority over his education.
Because of this, he depends on exam malpractice and sorting (bribing) lecturers
to scale to the next level. He likes to show off and keep up to a standard
higher than his income and therefore overspends; a habit that keeps him broke
most of the time.
Jatto is rugged, handsome and very
popular in school because he knows his way with people especially socially.
He’s sort of an unofficial Director of Socials and extremely popular with the
ladies.
ITORO:
21. An Akwa-Ibom indigene, she is in her
third year in the Law Faculty and so a year ahead of the guys. She is exposed,
bold, sexually appealing, owns a car and has a flock of female friends. She is
always at logger-heads with Jatto who wants to have his way with her friends
while she plays a protective mother-hen to them. Itoro dates a married man (she
doesn’t know he is married) who pays her bills. She uses and misuses law terms
to manipulate her way through things as well as to settle disputes among the
boys.
NNAMDI:
22, studying mechanical engineering and in his second year The
fair-complexioned dude is Igbo. He is God-fearing, geek-like, reserved and very
brilliant, had the highest G.P.A in his department (fresher year). Either his
brilliance or being a ‘school-pastor’ is what does the trick; no one knows for
sure, yet a lot of ladies like Nnamdi, although he is not very social. Nnamdi
is quite uptight (even in his dressing; public school teacher-like) and much
focussed on his academics. Yet, it must be said, if pimped and he takes off his
spectacles, it becomes obvious that Nnamdi is also handsome.
FIJABI:
21. A
student of Guidance and Counselling. He is very unexposed “local”, has lived in
his native town; Okuku, Osun state, all his life and this is quite obvious in
his often uncouth appearance and heavily-accented English. He is the very
useful handy-man of the house. He looks a bit older than the rest of the guys
(but this may just be as a result of having worked on the farm, back in the
days). He is a very jovial guy but sadly not a ladies-magnet. He talks
endlessly about his purported girlfriend Abeke, who he claims is the belle of
his village.
ABBY:
34. First things first, she could ‘kill’ you for calling her
Aunty... even though she’s actually Itoro’s Aunt, she prefers to be simply
called Abby! She comes in every now and then, from the US (in the second
season) and toying with the idea of finally relocating back to Nigeria. She
always claims to be Itoro’s sister and though she’s in her mid-thirties, her
good looks and hip fashion style make her look almost ten years younger! Just
the way she loves it! She loves to sow her wild oats around, has a knack of
frustrating Itoro unwittingly and seems to find Fijabi extremely appealing! She
falls madly in love with him!
MONSURATU:
27, local, illiterate but
industrious, she owns a provision store.
She is desperate to get married and falls madly in love with Jatto who
she is willing to get at any costs regardless of the ‘minor’ fact that Jatto
has no interests in her. Monsuratu’s
make up is usually horribly ‘over-done’ but she does this in a bid to please
Jatto. Monsuratu is obviously that ‘one exception to the rule’ for Jatto.
ONYINYE:
20, Nnamdi’s cousin. A
tom-boy. A beautiful, clever, witty, easy-going chic who knows how to burst
Jatto’s bubble which makes her his number one ‘most-wanted’ chic. She is a
Karate fighter.

Things Every Young Person Should Know
I have a lot to say, and I don’t really know where to begin. The age of
adolescence is one you will remember forever. You will experience more
than you can ever imagine in the next decade or so, both good and bad.
People will come, people will go, you will be let down and you will be
joyfully surprised. There will be pressure to conform and to follow the
trends portrayed in the media. There will be pressure to make decisions
and face conflicts. You will learn and you will grow.
It’s important that you stay true to you. Do not allow other people or outside factors to change you. You are uniquely you, and that is exactly why people love to be in your presence. Express your weirdness and do it with pride. Be funny; be silly. You are too young to be so serious. Make new friends; explore new places. Most importantly be yourself, workhard, have a purpose in life, be determined to succeed, have fun, love, and never forget to smile αℓωαчs.... Below are a list of things you should know.
1. Take risks.
It’s the risks you take that will guide you to learning more about yourself and who you want to be. Do not let social pressures turn you into someone you’re not, however. Who cares what other people think? You are your own person, and you will soon learn that the opinions of others do not matter nearly as much as you think they do.
2. There will be great friends, but foes, as well.
There will even be some great friends who turn into foes. Do not let the drama of youth run your life. Be true to your friends, be trustworthy and be honest. You will come across others who might not be your biggest fan for no reason at all. You cannot let these individuals phase you. Disregard the negativity.
3. Be good to others, and others will be good to you.
The same goes for the lovers that will come and go in your life. There will be your first love, followed by a possible broken heart, and then there will be many loves that swoop in to mend that broken heart. You will experience all types of love in this world, along with all different types of lovers that you might never expect.
4. Be a loyal and faithful lover.
Avoid temptations that will quickly turn into regrets. Give yourself the ability to say with confidence that you are and always have been a good girlfriend. To the lovers who break your heart, screw them. Second chances as hard to give as they are to come by, and more often than not, you will be disappointed with yourself for letting the one who hurt you back into your life. Always remember that there will be many loves in your life, and the right one will never let you down.
5. Explore the world!
There is so much opportunity out there. Walk through open doors. If you don’t take advantage of opportunity and dive into risks, you might never discover your true calling. Consider challenges opportunities to build your strength and learn lessons. You will find that when one door closes, another door opens.
6.Life goes on and never stands still.
Expand your horizons. Soak up different pressures! Life is not a bed of roses, face the challenges that comes your way and stand up to it. You may have setbacks, heartbreaks, failures, you may loose someone special to you, but learn to αℓωαчs move on and come out stronger cos life goes on and never stands still, also time waits for no Man.
7. Be appreciative of what you have.
You are so young-minded and naive, it’s almost funny. Do not be ungrateful. You are blessed with the life you have in itself. Appreciate what you are given, and never take it anything for granted. One day, what you once had will no longer be there. Recognize the value in even the littlest things. It’s these things that make for the best memories. Be grateful for your friends, family and support system. The people who are there for you right now will most likely be the people who will be there for you until the end.
8. The changes that you experience will shock you. There will be countless blessings that come unannounced, along with losses that happen all too quickly. While some changes will be the guides to a better future, others will be hard to accept. It’s the good and bad changes that will mold you into the wonderful individual that you are. Welcome the good with open arms, mourn the losses that you cannot prevent and save the ones that you can.
9. You have the power to empower.
Have confidence in yourself. Be a leader and enforce change. Be strong enough to stand up for what you believe in, gain support for a good cause and alter the world as we know it. The world is in your hands — don’t let it drop.
10. Some Battles Have To Be Fought Alone,
Some Paths Have To Be Crossed Alone,
So; Never Be Too Emotionally Attached to Anyone.
You Never Know When You Have To Walk Alone!

*Clears throat* Okay... them girls always in solidarity about violence on women by men and all, you see comments like "if he lays his hands on you, dump his ass... or report to the police or the nearest -women against 'violent men' center-, Protect yourself from men that hurt you" and all... I is against that stuff too I mean I don't think any man has the right to beat up any woman for anything... it's wrong, I don't indulge or support it... But this post now is for the men that suffer in this same vein... Ha... you get beat up by a woman... As funny as it may sound their case is worse... I mean you can't even nerve up to tell anyone... you suffer your beatings in silence, you can't go to the police cause them might even lock you up for -say- being stupid...(I can imagine the faces of the Nigerian Policemen mocking the hell out of you) and I've not heard of any "Foundation for men against violence by women" centre before... (Or maybe there is???) and most off all you can't even post on online your picture of being battered with caption, "My Wife did this to me" Ha... your first 10 comments are going to drive you to suicide... so if you are in this shoe... my brother, I feel your pain, if possible leave the woman before she kills you... Go to church, mosque or whatever deity you believe in and ask for help. This goes out to you and to those suffering from one abuse or the other by women...
Don't Abuse you Woman, Don't Abuse your Man
Thank you Very much and Good-day.
